Matthew Kappus MD

Dr. Kappus is an Associate Professor in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital, in the division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is the medical director for the Living Donation Liver Transplant program and Director of the Heart-Liver Combined Transplant program. He sees general hepatology and transplant patients and continues to round with general gastroenterology. Dr. Kappus conducts both federally and industry sponsored research with an emphasis on liver disease and liver transplantation outcomes.
