May Carr is an advanced-practice clinical dietitian and educator working with adult inpatients on oncology floor and heme-onc intensive care services at Stanford Healthcare’s main hospital in Palo Alto, CA. At Stanford, May translates clinical experience and research on diet and cancer into evidence-based nutrition care. May is a huge believer in nutrition as a tool to help patients sustain strength and quality of life during and after cancer treatment. May is heavily involved in Serious Illness Care programming at Stanford, both as a SICP trainer, and as an advocate for RD involvement in serious illness and end of life conversations for oncology patients.

May has an MS in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.
