Mireille Hamdan joined the Mayo Clinic Nutrition Department since 2015. Mireille received her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from the East Tennessee State University. She is an instructor of nutrition at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and maintains her Certified Nutrition Support Clinician credentials. She specializes in nutrition support for critical care and manages Mayo Clinic patients on Home Parenteral Nutrition. Mireille is a member of American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) society Education and Professional Development Committee.

Mireille is currently the clinical Nutrition Manager of Nutrition Services. Her interest in research includes the infection risk associated with the dosing of lipid emulsion in parenteral nutrition. Mireille received Abstract Distinction Award for her research work in the American Society for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition National Conference. Mireille was also an author of the Nutrition in Critical Illness chapter of Mayo-Clinic Intensive Care and Neuro-Critical Care Board Review Book.
