Rajitha D. Venkatesh, MD, MPH, FAAP, is an attending pediatric gastroenterologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Co-Director of the Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders Program. Dr. Venkatesh completed residency training in Pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children (MGHfC). Her clinical and research interests are focused on eosinophilic GI. She has established NCH’s first transnasal endoscopy program and esophageal string test for EoE patients. She serves on multiple national committees including the NASPGHAN inaugural Gastrointestinal, Immunology, Microbiome (GIM) chair and was the founding chair of the NASPGHAN EGID SIG. In addition, she serves as medical director for Partners for Kids (PFK) helping vulnerable children with chronic illnesses in Ohio.
