Renee Bellanger PharmD

Dr. Bellanger, Tenured, Professor, Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy teaches in a variety of courses at the Feik School of Pharmacy including the pharmacotherapeutics of GI and DEENT, elective studies in natural dietary supplements, nutrition, and women's health. Dr. Bellanger is licensed in Texas. She received a B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Pharm. D. degree co-conferred by the University of Texas at Austin and UTexas Health in San Antonio. She completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at Harris Hospital -Methodist in Fort Worth, TX and a residency in pediatric pharmacy practice at the University of Oklahoma under the guidance of Dr. Rosalie Sagraves. She maintained BPS nutrition support board certification from 1992 through 2021. Dr. Bellanger has extensive experience in hospital pharmacy administration, clinical pharmacy management and directing pharmacy residency experiences for domestic and international pharmacists. Her specialty practice interests are in pediatrics, women's health, neonatology, nutrition and integrative medicine. She is a member of AACP, ACCP, APhA, ASPEN, TASPEN, Phi Lambda Sigma, Rho Chi, Kappa Epsilon, TSHP and CTSHP.
