Dr. Roland Dickerson is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacist and Clinical Coordinator of the Nutrition Support Service at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN. He is a board-certified nutrition support pharmacist and has been actively engaged in clinical practice, research, and education for nearly 4 decades. Dickerson has been a member of ASPEN since 1979 and is a past recipient of ASPEN’s highest honor, the Rhoads Research Lecture Award in addition to ASPEN’s Excellence in Nutrition Support Education award, Stanley Serlick award, and Distinguished Nutrition Support Pharmacist award. Other notable achievements include receipt of the Sustained Contributions to the Literature Award from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Clinical Practice Award from American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the John M Kinney International Award in General Nutrition. He is a fellow in ASPEN as well as SCCM, ACCP, and ASHP. Currently, Dr. Dickerson has over 180 publications of which many have led to improvements in the clinical care of patients who require parenteral or enteral nutrition therapy.
