Dr. Ryan Hurt is a Professor of Medicine and is the Program Director for the Home Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Program at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Hurt currently serves as the Vice-Chair and Research Chair for the Division of General Internal Medicine. He has served on the ASPEN Board of Directors and is a Past President of ASPEN (2022-23). He previously served as the President of the Kentucky Chapter of ASPEN from 2016-to 2021. He is the Director of the Post COVID Care Clinical and Research Programs at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He has developed a clinical interest in nutrition, obesity, addiction, Long COVID, and most recently AI in Clinical Decision Making and has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 17 book chapters in these areas.
