Dr. Sandra Citty is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Nursing and a Clinical Nurse Investigator at the North Florida South Georgia Veterans Health System in Gainesville Florida. She is an RN/APRN with over 29 years of experience in nursing practice, education, and research in acute care and community settings. She has been involved in quality and process improvement projects related to common issues that impact health outcomes and nursing practice, including errors of omission of nursing care and safety of enteral nutrition. Her current projects are focused on improving quality and safety in nursing practice. Dr. Citty recently served in the Florida Nurses Association Nominating Committee, North Central Region, and serves as the chair-elect of the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) Nurses Section and an active member of ASPEN’s Clinical Practice Committee.
