Senthilkumar Sankararaman is an Attending Physician at the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospitals and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Shreveport, USA, and a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospitals. He also completed a fellowship in advanced clinical nutrition at the Nestle Nutrition Institute. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. He was also recognized as a Physician Nutrition Specialist (PNS) by the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists (NBPNS) and a diplomate in the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Sankararaman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a member of the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN). He serves on various committees in AAP, ASPEN, and NASPGHAN and is an editorial board member of the Pediatrics journal. He has published several peer-reviewed publications and authored various book chapters and regularly contributes as a reviewer in many journals. His clinical interests include nutritional therapy in gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, cystic fibrosis, obesity, and pancreatic diseases.
