Silvia Figueiroa MS, RD, CNSC

Silvia Figueiroa holds more than a decade of experience in clinical nutrition. She earned her M.S. in Nutrition from Florida State University. During her years at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, she served as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist and Parenteral Nutrition team coordinator, overseeing the nutritional management of hundreds of surgical oncology patients. Currently, as a Clinical Research Dietitian at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in addition to patient care, she devotes her work time to research and has been an active ASPEN volunteer.
