Vikram Christian is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. He received his medical degree from Father Muller Medical College in Mangalore, India, completed his pediatric residency at Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, Wisconsin and completed pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Christian also completed the Nestlé Clinical Nutrition Fellowship in 2019. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. He holds additional nutrition support certification, as well. Dr. Christian is the Director of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at the University of Minnesota. His clinical and research interests include dietary therapies, and iron deficiency in pediatric IBD. He is an active member on multiple committees at ASPEN, and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN).
