Yousheng Li received the B.S. degree in clincal medicine from Second Military Medical University in 1986 and the M.D. degree in surgery from Second Military Medical University in 1995. His research interests include intestinal failure, enteral and parenteral nutrition, accelerated rehabilitation of small bowel transplantation, inflammatory bowel disease, small bowel transplantation, gastrointestinal tumors, radiation enteritis, short bowel syndrome and so on. He performed the first clinical small bowel transplantation of China in 1994, and the first combined liver and bowel transplantation of China in 2003. In the recent years, he published more than 100 original articles and reviews, and undertook Multiple National Natural Science Funds.
