Reported errors in parenteral nutrition (PN) use combined with new approvals for PN amino acid formulations and indirect calorimetry highlight the need for improved clinician competence. This symposium will provide tools to assist clinicians in understanding of PN and advancements in related technology to ensure improved patient-centered outcomes.
