The use of probiotics is becoming part of the mainstream in clinical medicine today. But the data supporting this practice is full of inconsistency and variability. This teleseminar will attempt to clear up the inconsistencies reported in the current probiotic literature by examining various state-of-the-art research models used to sort out the basic science in support of the use of probiotics.

  2. Develop an evidence-based approach to separate the science behind the probiotics from the hype of the lay press.
