Goals and Target Audience
This training series is targeted to nutrition support practitioners who are new to managing patients on nutrition support or those practitioners who need an update in the management of fluids, electrolytes, acid-base disorders and laboratory assessment. This training series is planned at the intermediate learning level and designed to empower members of the nutrition support team to take an active role in correcting abnormalities in conjunction with the entire healthcare team.
Successful Completion
Each on-demand webinar in the four part series is accredited separately. To obtain credit for each on-demand webinar, participants must listen to the recording in full, pass the posttest with a score of 100% and complete an evaluation via the electronic CE system in A.S.P.E.N.’s eLearning Center, which is accessible from any internet connection at www.nutritioncare.org/elearning. Participants may log in using the email address and password on file with A.S.PE.N. Note: successfully completing the posttest is required for nurses, pharmacists and physicians, not dietitians. Dietitians may claim credit for viewing/listening to the recording per CDR guidelines.
Please note, to receive the Certificate of Training in Fluids, Electrolytes and Acid-Base, participants must successfully complete all four enduring programs and claim CE credits for each.

Registered dietitians (RDs) and dietetic technicians, registered (DTRs) will receive continuing professional education units (CPEUs) for completion of this program / materials.
