Allison_Blackmer

Allison Blackmer PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, FCCP, FASPEN

Allison completed her PharmD degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008 and then completed two years of post-graduate residency training at the University of North Carolina, specializing in pediatric pharmacotherapy. Upon completion of training, Allison served as a faculty member at the University of Michigan and the clinical pharmacist on the pediatric surgery service at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital (2010-2014) and then as a faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and as the clinical pharamcist in the Special Care Clinic at Children's Hospital Colorado (2014-2021). She remains adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy.

Allison is the former Director of Clinical Practice, Quality and Advocacy at the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). Allison joined the ASPEN team in this role in the spring of 2021 after more than a decade of clinical experience. Allison's time in this role ended in 2023, after completion of the on-demand portions of the course.
