Amber Leon is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX covering BI, SCI, and pediatric services. Over the past year she has worked to pilot co-treatments with SLP, OT, and PT in BI patients, and continues to develop protocols with the anticipation of expanding co-treatments to the SCI population. This year she was selected to participate in a 12 month leadership development program and had the pleasure of speaking on a COVID roundtable in the Texas area providing input from a post-acute perspective. When she’s not within the hospital walls she spends most of her time coaching athletes, hitting the weight room, and smothering her Boston Terrier.
