Dr. Daniela Gattini is an advanced fellow at the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto. She completed her medical studies, pediatrics residency and pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition fellowship at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She then completed a Fellowship in Intestinal Failure and a Fellowship in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. Her primary research interests are centered on the long-term outcomes of children with intestinal failure, as well as economic evaluations and measurement of health-related quality of life in pediatric intestinal failure.
